We Saw a Vampire.
Hello everyone, this is T.J. Burks, the videographer for 3rd & Twentieth! This weekend we stepped a little bit out of our box and entered the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival’s 48-hour film making competition, the Sidewalk Scramble. This contest tasks Birmingham film makers with writing, casting, shooting, and finally editing and producing a short film with a random genre, plot device, prop, etc.
This one was horror themed in time for Halloween, and our random genre pulled was vampire! Also included in our bag was the movie Saw. This meant our film had to be tied to it through a prop, line, or theme. This proved to be quite a curve, as most of our research went to other genres and ideas. Nonetheless, we think we were able to put out something awesome in only two days. We’re currently in the process of writing several other films and projects more rooted in the entertainment genre.
We feel this show cases our broad range of products we can offer in the vein of Video/Photo production. Our foray into film will further expand our abilities to offer an amazing product to businesses, couples, parents, and more! We have a lot of cool stuff in store for the future, so definately stay tuned!
The screening for our film will be at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, October 6th at 7:00 PM. Best of all, entry to the event is free, and should be an awesome experience. Check out for more details
Here is a trailer for our entry into the film! The trailer is approved for all audiences, but our film would likely be suggestive material. Discretion is advised!
